Eisenhower HS '96 Reunion Saturday, August 12, 2006Reunion Information| Location Details: | Doubletree Hotel Houston -Intercontinental Airport 15747 JFK Blvd Houston, TX 77032
| | Coordinator(s): | Tanisha Haynes | | Information: | It is hard to believe it, but it has been 10 years since we graced the halls of Eisenhower High School. Ten years since we were awaken by our parents for another morning at Big Ike, (well, some of you may still rely on this service) and 10 years since we’ve sung " O' Hail to thee our Eisenhower," and swayed back-and-forth with our fingers pointed and rooted for the Eagles to snag another big win.
Eisenhower High School opened in 1972, and it was named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, thirty-fourth President of the United States. "Big Ike" is part of the Aldine Independent School District and one of four high schools. Big Ike opened its doors to us in 1992, and we departed in 1996, to move on to bigger and better things.
Well, time flies. The Eisenhower High School Class Reunion Committee would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to our 10-year reunion, August 11-13, 2006 in Houston. The Doubletree Hotel at 15747 JFK Blvd., will serve as our host hotel. The number is (281) 987-1234.
On Friday, we will host the Reunion Mixer. The mixer will begin at 5:30 p.m. near the ballpark, location TBD. Afterward we will cheer on our National League Champion Houston Astros as they take on the San Diego Padres at Minute Maid Park. On Saturday, we will enjoy festivities at the Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport at 8 p.m. for the Reunion Banquet – there we plan to have a great time, reminisce, listen to music and take our class picture.
When it is time to say good bye and look forward to the 15-year reunion, we will have the Reunion Picnic at H&H Ranch at 12 p.m. Take time to introduce your new family members to old classmates, relax and have a good time. We’ll have food, games, swimming, music and entertainment from Eisenhower’s auxiliaries.
We are looking forward to seeing you and having a great time, and please remember to spread the word about the reunion.
